         The vision of Outreach Christian Fellowship is to fill a need for those desiring to go to a foreign or state-side mission field. For many reasons some of the best missionaries are not approved by a denominational Mission Board. We want to be “A Helping Hand” enabling those who are called to be able to go. Matthew 28:19-20

 

Statement of Purpose

          Our purpose is not only to be a “covering” for the Missionaries through the services that we offer but to stimulate an interest in missions by sharing in local churches, conferences and leading teams on short term outreaches. We feel that the ministry of Outreach Christian Fellowship is unique in that we partner with many different expressions of the Body of Christ. It is our intention that with outreached arms we can reach around the world with the message of Jesus Christ.

 

          We are an Interdenominational Mission Organization. We do not ordain, license or commission those with whom we work. We believe that should be the ministry of the local church where the missionary is a member and to whom they are accountable.  (Most local churches are not equipped to do what we do and neither are we equipped to be a local church.)

 

Application

          This practical way to fulfill the Great Commission has been followed since the beginning of Outreach Christian Fellowship when it was birthed with outstretched arms to be "a helping hand to the missionary."

Each year steps are taken to work toward the achievement   and  fulfillment of the vision.
